Equipped with CPA qualification and Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting from Swinburne University of Technology, Don has been meeting the accounting needs of individual and corporate clients for over 5 years. Don is an outgoing individual with a positive attitude who loves what he does and strives to achieve the best outcome for clients. In his spare time Don enjoys travelling and being outdoors, or just having a quiet one at home with his favorite Netflix shows.

Yenda Carson

Yenda is the Head of Valuations and Private Client Sales. Her experience spans the Arts and Education sectors over a period of 30 years and includes roles as a Gallery Director, Curator and Public Art commissioning manager and she has delivered various projects working with public entities, government and private clients. As a senior educator she has provided visual art programs for secondary and tertiary organisations and developed resources for arts organisations learning programs. Yenda graduated with a first-class honors degree in fine art and has been the recipient of grants and artist residencies for projects in Australia and overseas with her artworks held in state owned and private collections. She is also a published author contributing to artist monologues and journals and has an interest in the sublime and in the anthropological, historical and social representations in the Arts.

Kim Ly

Kim Ly (maternity leave)

Kim holds a Bachelor of Business, Economics and Finance from RMIT and has recently commenced her CPA program. Before joining Michael Fox Arts Accountants, Kim worked for more than three years as an accountant within the family’s group of businesses in the hospitality sector. When she gets time to herself, she enjoys music, cooking and yoga. Kim is an enthusiastic and dedicated member of the team assisting with a broad range of administrative support and taxation services.

George Bountris

George Bountris

George is a tax accountant at Michael Fox Arts Accountants. Holding a Bachelor of Business in Professional Accountancy and with three years’ experience in the sector, George is well equipped to assist clients in achieving a favorable tax outcome. Outside of accounting, George focuses his energy on learning about the environments in which humans live. He believes healthy living and working environments can maximise productivity, creativity and prosperity.

Lachlan Maclaine-Cross

Lachlan Maclaine-Cross

Lachlan Maclaine-Cross is a tax accountant, who specialises in film, TV, radio and music. He holds a Bachelor of Songwriting and Music Production, a Bachelor of Engineering (Mechanical) and a Certificate IV Bookkeeping and Accounting.

After hours you will find Lachlan practising a new song or tinkering in his home studio.

Jane Tran

Jane Tran

Jane holds Bachelor of Professional Accounting and works as management accountant at Michael Fox Arts Accountants, overseeing a portfolio of business clients. In February 2020, Jane moved to Hobart to establish the Hobart office. Working at Michael Fox Arts Accountants allows Jane to expand her knowledge of tax accounting at the same time as learning more about the art industry. Jane is passionate about client service and strives to achieve the best possible outcomes for clients.

Dat Nguyen

Dat joined Michael Fox Arts Accountants in July 2021. Commencing as administrative support, he now works closely with the firm’s accountants providing accounting support to them. Before joining Michael Fox Arts Accountants, Dat spent two years working as an accounting assistant for a public accounting firm in Singapore. Multiskilled, Dat also worked as a civil engineer in Vietnam before he made the decision to change career paths and retrain as an accountant. Dat strives to be efficient and effective in his work, while identifying opportunities for innovation.

Dat holds a Bachelor degree in Accounting and Master’s degree in Professional and Practising Accounting.
