On Thursday, 22 February from 6:00 – 8:00 pm Michael Fox will give a talk at Fox Galleries. Drawing from his experience as a gallerist, certified accountant specialising in the arts, fine art valuer and art collector, Michael will share the latest insider advice for artists, arts professionals and collectors.
Artists will gain insight into how to reach collectors, the importance of copyright, inscriptions and editions and the strategic decisions behind mounting strong exhibitions. Arts professionals can learn about the effects of taxation on Australian cultural policy, particularly on the Aboriginal art industry, and Michael’s proposal to abolish the capital gains tax on private purchases of art, including inheritances. For collectors, Michael will outline the key elements necessary to build a unique collection of museum quality artworks.
Space is limited so please RSVP as soon as possible by emailing email@example.com
